The alloy is based on the proven material concept of M2 high-speed steel and forms a martensitic carbide structure with a high proportion of fine vanadium, molybdenum, and tungsten carbides. This microstructure ensures excellent abrasion resistance, good impact strength, and high hot hardness. Metalizer™ Fe-CM2 is also heat treatable and is ideal for wear protection coatings on components in agricultural engineering, forming technology, and industrial conveyor and mixing systems.
