Privacy Policy for Customers

The present Policy serves to explain how  m4p material solutions GmbH  (“we”) will process your personal information. It is intended for our existent customers, interested parties and prospective clients as well as their respective associates, bodies, and other employees.   

The purpose of data processing 

We will process your personal information for the following purposes:

 to establish, manage, and handle the business relationship;

 to reinforce existent customer relations or establish new ones or to contact potentially interested parties and inform them on our service range (marketing);

Legal basis for data processing

If you are an interested party or a prospective client, we will exclusively process your contact data for direct (electronic) mailings or to contact you on the phone if you have given your respective consent in accordance with Art. 6 subp. 1 lit. a of the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

If you are one of our existent customers, we will process your personal information because this is required to manage our business relation (Art. 6 subp. 1 lit. b GDPR).

As for the rest, we process your personal information on base of our legitimate interest in achieving the objectives specified in item 1 hereof (Art. 6 subp. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Transmission of your personal information

If necessary to achieve the objectives specified in item 1 hereof, we will transmit your personal information to these recipients:

 IT service providers and other services providers whose services we make use of in context with marketing activities;

 external business partners involved with the project;

 tax consultants;

 Authorities.

Any transfer of personal information to third countries (outside EU territory) or international organizations shall be excluded.

Retention period

We will generally store your personal information until the business relationship (in context with which we have collected your data) is terminated or until any statutory retention periods expire. Except for that, we will retain said data until possibly existing legal disputes for which such information is required as evidence come to an end. If you are an existent or former customer, interested party and/or prospective client or one of their contacts, we will store your personal information for marketing purposes until we receive your respective objection or until you revoke your respective consent, provided that suchlike marketing campaigns are based on your consent.

Your rights in connection with personal information

Among other things, you are entitled (i) to be informed whether and which of your personal information we process and to obtain copies of this data; (ii) to request the correction, amendment or deletion of your personal information if such data are incorrect or not processed in accordance with the law; (iii) to demand us to restrict the processing of your personal information; (iv) under certain circumstances to object to the processing of your personal information or to revoke any consent previously given to such processing (whereas such withdrawal shall not affect the lawfulness of any processing that has taken place prior to said withdrawal); (v) to require data portability if you are our customer; (vi) to be informed on the identity of third parties to whom your personal information is transferred, and (vii) to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority (https://www.dsb.gv.at/).
